The Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance (NSW) Aboriginal Corporation (NSW) is a proud, 100% Aboriginal-owned and controlled organisation established in 2019 by a passionate collective of Regional Aboriginal Artists and Arts Administrators from our homelands of NSW.
ARAA stands as the only 100% Aboriginal owned and managed organisation in the State dedicated to supporting, empowering and fighting for the collective of Aboriginal and broader creative community across the entire footprint of regional and remote NSW.
The term Aboriginal Arts Worker is broad, diverse, and deeply important to the strength of the creative industries in Australia. It does not describe just one role or career path; it is an umbrella term that includes the many Aboriginal people who contribute their skills, knowledge, and creativity to the arts and cultural sector.
