BLAKView is a hybrid program offering regional and remote NSW people the opportunity to increase their capacity through access to an exceptional and rare opportunity for training and mentoring to become an Art Writer and Critic.
Black View is a transformative initiative that addresses the critical shortage of art writing and criticism in Regional and Remote NSW, particularly among Aboriginal people and other minority groups such as CALD, Disability, and LGBTQ+ communities. Black View is a hybrid program offering regional and remote NSW people the opportunity to increase their capacity through access to an exceptional and rare opportunity for training and mentoring to become an art Writer and critic. Strategically placed to 3 different regional arts board locations in regional and remote NSW, this project will be offered to the whole of the arts sector, however, with a particular focus on the Aboriginal, CALD LGBTQ+ and Disability sectors from across regional and remote NSW. This program will be practical and delivered face to face and online, which ensure active engagement.

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
