Permission to Photograph

When taking part in ARAA Projects & Events

From time to time when conducting or participating in workshops, forums, projects or activities the Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance team may take photos which we use for record keeping, reporting, marketing and promotion.

We understand and respect that some people don’t like having their photo taken and/or having photos published which is why we will always try to seek your permission first. As such we are asking your permission to photograph you, your work or your involvement in a particular event or activity,

This is your opportunity to give us your permission to photograph you or your work as well as giving us your blessing to use these photos for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to media, marketing and promotion (such as our website, Facebook page, brochures, media releases), reporting to clients and/or funding bodies etc. and for use in other presentations.

Once approval is granted you, if at any time you wish to change your mind you can do so by notifying the Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance team, preferably in writing. Similarly if you we publish a photo you feel is unbecoming towards you, you can ask that we remove the photo, the Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance team will take all steps possible to remove the photo.
